Preserving Premium Cigar History Before It's Lost

Every year, release information disappears. Websites close, images vanish, and limited editions become harder to verify. The Cigar Wiki exists to preserve that history—for collectors today and future generations

Together, we're ensuring today's cigar history is still available decades from now.

Our Mission

Build the most complete public archive of premium cigar releases.

The goal is to make premium cigar release history easier to discover, verify, and preserve. The archive is built for collectors, retailers, manufacturers, researchers, and enthusiasts who care about the details that define a release.

Why I Started This

Why I Built The Cigar Wiki

The Cigar Wiki began with a simple realization: every year, valuable information about premium cigar releases quietly disappears. Websites close, social media posts are lost, images vanish, and limited editions become increasingly difficult to research or verify. As a longtime cigar enthusiast, I found myself chasing information that should have been preserved.

Rather than accept that history would slowly fade away, I decided to build a permanent, community-driven archive dedicated to documenting premium cigar releases, manufacturers, brands, and the stories behind them.

This isn't backed by a large company or a team of employees. It's being built one release at a time, fueled by countless hours of research, verification, and a passion for preserving cigar history for future collectors, retailers, manufacturers, and enthusiasts.

My hope is that The Cigar Wiki becomes something bigger than one person—a trusted resource maintained by an entire community. Whether you submit a release, report a correction, contribute financially, or simply share the project with others, you're helping ensure that today's cigar history is still available for the next generation.

Together, we're preserving the history of premium cigars—one release at a time.
